A dozen individuals were killed Saturday night in an attack in the locality of Tchika, district of Hile-Halifa in the Department of Logone-et-Chari in the Far north region of Cameroon.
Unidentified individuals who were armed, presumed to belong to Boko Haram, attacked the town of Hile Halifa, at night. They burned several houses and killed a dozen people.
For several weeks, there has been a resurgence of attacks attributed to the Nigerian sect, in Cameroonian border towns.
