The attacks, by suspected elements of Boko Haram, took place on Wednesday night in the town of Aissa Harde (Department of Mayo-Sava). Our source said “gunmen, mounted on horses and motorcycles, attacked the village shortly after 10 pm. They first attacked the village of Ngoulma, where our two comrades in the army were killed, before assaulting the village of Aissa Harde, where 9 people were slaughtered.”
In total, the security forces counted 11 dead (9 people including two attackers and 2 soldiers). The attackers also burnt houses in the village, said the Cameroonian of high-grade.
