Fifteen members of the Islamic sect Boko Haram were killed on Monday in the Cameroonian town of Achigachia (Far North), in a tough battle with the Battalion of Airborne Troops (BTAP), APA learned from security sources.
The security sources also reported of the capture of two terrorists by the local vigilante committee, no lose of life was reported.
According to government estimates, 1,098 civilians, 67 soldiers, and three policemen were killed between 2013 and early 2016 after 315 raids, 12 accidents on mines and 32 suicide attacks attributed to Boko Haram.
