The former Director general of the Cameroon Radio and Television (Crtv), Amadou Vamoulke has been banned from travelling out of the National territory.
Amadou Vamoulke will be jointing his predecessor Jervais Mendoze in kondegui any time soon.His passport has been seized and the CPDM baron from the North will be arrested any time after the handing over ceremony today at 1pm at CRTV Mballa II in Yaounde.
Amadou Vamoulke was replaced by Ace journalist Charles Ndongo as GM of Cameroon Radio and Television on the 29th of June by a Presidential decree signed by Paul Biya.
Amadou Vamoulke who was been GM of CRTV for more than a decade,could suffer the same fate as the other officials implicated in the scandal of the licence fee and advertising agency.On the 27th of March, 2015, He was question for nearly 8 hours at the special Criminal Tribunal about the unorthodox practices at Mballa II.
At the end of the long hearing a warrant of committal was awarded him but was cancelled at the last minute, thanks to political considerations,we are told.
Also two charges were levelled against the successor of Gervais Mendo Ze by the special criminal court.
