Regional Governors have been equipped with service vehicles to ease their administrative work.
Each of the 10 regional Governors received two vehicles; a four-wheel drive pick-up and a ceremonial car each.
The band new black coloured vehicles have been described as a new year present donated by the Head of State, Paul Biya to facilitate their work as regional representatives of the Head of State and all the Ministers.
The consignment was handed over to the Governors during a solemn ceremony at the esplanade of the Yaoundé City Council by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation, Rene Emmanuel Sadi.
During the event, Minister Rene Emmanuel Sadi handed over the keys of the vehicles to each Governor with a call on them to use the logistics judiciously in the execution of their duties.
