President Paul Biya and his wife, Mrs. Chantal Biya, left Yaoundé on the morning of Tuesday, February 23, 2016, for a brief private visit to Europe.
The Head of State was accompanied by his close collaborators, notably the Director of the Civil Cabinet, Martin Belinga Eboutou; the Special Adviser, Rear Admiral Joseph Fouda and the Chief of State Protocol, Simon Pierre Bikele.
At the Nsimalen International Airport where he was greeted by a crowd of enthusiastic militants, President Paul Biya had brief audiences with the President of the Senate, Marcel Niat Njifenji; the Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril; the Prime Minister Head of Government, Philemon Yang; and the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh.
