Members of the terrorist group created a large gathering at the border between Cameroon and Nigeria to preach their ideology.
It’s Le Jour newspaper this Thursday, December 17th, 2015 giving the information. The newspaper informs that “on Tuesday, December 15th, 2015, shortly before 8:00 pm, members of Boko Haram took a big rally in Kerawa in Nigeria. Arrived in several hundreds, the terrorists installed powerful loudspeakers. Headlights on. They then began a long sermon in Arabic, Hausa and Kanuri. ”

Obviously choosing not to relay the message of terrorists, Le Jour explains, “The sermons were probably sent to the populations Kerawa in the Cameroonian side of the border. The two villages are separated by a thin river that also forms the border between Cameroon and Nigeria. ”

The newspaper reporter wrote in his article that, “For many hours, megaphones of Boko Haram spewed propaganda of the sect. The populations of Kerawa had no choice but to listen to the fiery speeches. The cold that prevails at the end of this year and the arsenal with which the sect’s fighters terrorize them did not encourage them to come out. Meanwhile soldiers were on the alert. They seek to understand the meaning of this gathering. ”

Le Jour says that “Some passages of sermons heard in Kerawa suggest to observers that the sect had come to recruit new members. Boko Haram preachers were accustomed to browse the Cameroonian villages of the border. They came, often with gifts. They then gathered the people to preach the good word. It was an important spring to recruit members. The youths, the poor and desperate people were rallied en masse. ”
