The dedication of the book "Civil society and political commitment in Cameroon" coordinated by the journalist and member of the civil society Jean Bosco Talla, was banned by the Deputy DO of Yaoundé II.
The pretext cited by the administrative authority is "the risk of disturbing public order" that could cause the submission of such a work. The notification banning the book presentation was made to the owner of the Hotel Somatel which was to house the conference. According to the newspaper, the event organizers are John Bosco Talla and Eric Mathias Owona Nguini.
The hotel presented to the organizers of a demonstration ban dated January 25, 2016, however, "I spent more than half of the evening of January 26, 2016 in the prefecture without the secretary of the administrative authority to attend to me "says journalist puzzled.
Eric Mathias Owona Nguini, "We will soon prohibit Cameroonian thinking." But there is no question for the authors of undaunted by a simple ban on demonstrations. According to the newspaper, they intend to contact the judicial authorities to express their disagreement.
