A delegation of the Cameroon People Democratic Movement composed of elites from the region found itself this February 9, 2016, at the Bonanjo party home in Douala.

This is a prelude to a big rally in support of the candidacy of Paul Biya in 2018 presidential planned for February 13, 2016, here in Douala.

Four ministers namely, Prof. Narcisse MOUELLE Kombi, Minister of Arts and Culture, Lejeune Mbella Mbella, Minister of External Relations, Jean Ernest Ngalle Bibehe, Minister of Secondary Education and Laurent Esso, Minister of Justice and also the head of the delegation.

Two points, at least, have furnished the essential meeting with delegations coming from the four divisions that make up the Littoral. First was a presentation of newly elected comrades in sections and subsections base, then the accuracy of the object reunion by Laurent Esso:

"We are in times that seem a concern for some and uncertainty for others without this being justified. But given the internal configuration, being in tension which is not necessary to recall, we want to reaffirm that the National President is the party's candidate in the presidential election.

So we will, on February 13, organise a big meeting in a large mobilization, so that we can ensure our adherence to the party's constitution. This is for us to express our firm commitment to the National Chairman of our party.

The motion that we will prepare in the framework of this meeting, so, it will be a call for applications..." said the head of the delegation.
