A report released on Wednesday by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Conac), has denounced the "sophistication" of corruption techniques in Cameroon in 2013.
"Corruption has evolved and sophisticated techniques in various forms of cheating," stated the report on the status of the fight against corruption in the country in 2013.
Thus, "the state agents have several registration numbers, which entitle them to as many salaries", revealed the report.
At the Land Bank of Cameroon (Cfc), major loans are granted to people who have acquaintances with the ruling class, according to the report.
The 2013 report released yesterday was expected to be published in November 2014.
"Its publication was delayed a year, it was blocked by the Presidency of the Republic, by some people close to the power, whose names were contained in the report and who did not wish to see their names thrown in the dust," said an agent of Conac on anonymity.
