Two police officers at the Dabanga police station in the area of the Far North were kidnapped by the Nigerian terrorist sect Boko Haram, APA learns on Thursday from corroborating sources.

Although no claim has been made, everything suggests that the removal of these officers is an act of Boko Haram especially as their car was found burned near the police station.

Among the abducted policemen, was the Special Commissioner of Dabanga, Ousmaila Sabou and one of his colleagues surprised by an incursion of terrorists.

According to security sources, the two officers were taken to Nigeria, where there has been no news of them.

During this incursion, other items have been washed away by the assailants who committed their act at the border before the arrival of elements of the Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR).

However, no loss of life was recorded, despite the onslaught of attackers in the surrounding houses.

Recently, the terrorist sect Boko Haram has multiplied its attacks through suicide attacks incursions in the Cameroonian territory, although militarily, its destructive capacity has been reduced.
