The Ex-Minusca soldiers have threatened to march towards the Palace if their claims are not fully met.

“Let's get down again on the street, this time to the Presidential Palace to make ourselves heard, our premiums have not been fully paid,” this was the epitome of the message sent to Koaci by the Ex-Minusca from CAR.

The military added that “all the other components of the army support their movement, even the presidential guard. More than 95% of Cameroonians including the GP and allied defense forces support the CAR Ex-Minusca soldiers and can support them openly", added the Cameroonian non-commissioned officers.

The CAR Ex-Minusca soldiers demonstrated on September 9 in Yaoundé, the political capital, to claim their bonuses from the CAR peacekeeping operations. In the aftermath of their movement, Biya, while in his stay in European, had ordered the payment of premiums. They are still not fully paid.

The monthly wage of the Misca for this mission was 700.000F FCFA per month, but the authorities have paid about 562.000F FCFA. The military have been classified into four categories namely:

-FCFA 4.500.000F for those who stayed eight months in Misca (BTAP - BSA).

-FCFA 3.600.000F for those who stayed six and a half months in Misca (BSA2 - BBR - 11th BIM).

-2.812.500F FCFA for those who went for five months in Misca (Navy)-

-FCFA 1.320.000F for those who made two and a half months in Misca (staff).

The Gendarmes for their part were to be paid at the SED for eight months.

It is worth noting that the military first refused to take money that arrived at the CFTA Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 1:30pm, but after, some surrendered.

Claim of CAR ex-Minusca

According to information from Koaci, the military claim the money from the (UN) MINUSCA; 500.000F x 12 months for each CFA.

Not to mention the permissions to CAR amounting to; 112.000F FCFA for only 966 military.

The Salary of MINUSCA (UN) totals 750. 000F CFA per month. The authorities put forward 1/3 through a premium of 250,000 CFA francs, which was transferred in Cameroonian wages.

Today, the military must still collect 500.000F CFA x 12 months, we learn.

A delegation of ex-Minusca-CAR including 03 officers and 18 PNO would be received September 26 by the American Ambassador in Yaounde, at the request of the Government of the United States.

During a press briefing, Yaoundé rejected the responsibility on the African Union

The African Union for its part had recognized a clerical error at the root of the discontent of the ex-Minusca CAR.
