The Chairman of the Standards Committee of Fecafoot said during a press conference on Saturday at the headquarters of Fecafoot in Yaoundé, that the election of the next president of the association will take place on Monday, September 28, 2015.

He made the proclamation despite the decision on Friday by the Board of conciliation and arbitration (CCA) of the national Committee of Olympic and sports of Cameroon (CNOSC), cancelling the election of the executive bureau of the East regional league.

"We do not want to comment on this decision (of the CCA). We transmit this decision to the next president who will know what to do," said Joseph Owona.

The boss of the standardization of the Cameroonian football added that the election will be held, because in its decision, the Board of conciliation and arbitration of the CNOSC made no mention of the General Assembly. "The most important thing is that the (CCA) has not accused the elected General Assembly," he said.

Meanwhile, in the lists of the two candidates are delegates from the eastern region, struck by the CCA which canceled everything, except obviously the right to participate in the next federal electoral event, according to Joseph Owona.

"Did it (the CCA) cancel the participation of the East in the General Assembly? I do not think so! The election will take place with the eastern region," he insisted without further comments.
