A decree by the president of the Republic, signed on September 21, 2015, made changes in and outside of the General Delegation of National Security and Central Services.
Structures which had new officials include the central command of Public Security Directorate, which is for the first time given to a lady, the special operation group, defense branch, and the regional Delegations of the Adamawa, Far North and East.
As a reminder, severe punishment was administered to the head of the regional division of the judicial police of the Northwest.
The latter was revoked from the police corps. The head of state also relieved the Commissioner of public safety of the 20th district in Yaoundé, the Commissioner of public safety of Kye Ossi in the region of the South, the head of border post at Kye Ossi, Central Commissioner number 3 in Douala, the head of border post of Kenzou in the region of the East and the head of regional control unit service in southwestern region.
