The owner of La Charité Health Center at the Cogefar neighborhood in Douala was dragged to court by the parents of 8 children.

He has been accused of sexual abuse on minors. From the columns of the Emergence newspaper of Monday, December 7, 2015, the case was discovered when one of his victims confided in his elder brother in October 2015.

The victim, now aged 20, was been exploited by the nurse when he was 16 years old. Commonly referred to as “Docta” by locals, the nurse in question had the full confidence of parents, especially that of children.

“Enjoy me while I’m still alive, I am your father,” he liked to say to them to make them more confident.

To believe the testimony of victims, they all did a semen analysis, “he said he wanted to know if we could procreate,” said one of the teenagers. Yet, parents said they took their children to the health center for check-up, except a reproductive problem.

“He circumcised my child again. As I visited the center for explanation, he gave malformation as the reason," said one of the mothers angrily, who wondered how a child can be circumcised for a second time at age 17.

All the neighborhood kids were accustomed to go to the same health center without being accompanied by their parents. “He made us watch erotic films in a room in the hospital which served as his bedroom,” said one of the boys. He would even touch us to extract our juice," he added. “When ejaculation seemed difficult, he proceeded by excitement. Eventually, he always got what he wanted," the newspaper reported.

The newspaper reported that the age of the victims were between 16 and 20 years. According to some parents, these stories are nothing compared to what a young man, now aged 23 and who lived for two years with the accused when he was about 16 years.

Out of the 15 victims, only eight under the guidance of their parents, have consented to file a complaint against the owner of the health center for “sperm traffic".
