Attacks in the French capital on November 13, 2015, resulting in 129 reported deaths, have provoked strong reactions throughout the world. Among them is the reaction of the ambassador of France in Cameroon.

Christine Robichon in an interview with Le Jour on November 16 said she was shocked by the attacks. "Like all French and all our Cameroonian friends, these attacks put us all in shock. Paris has just paid the price dearly as Cameroon which has also been hit, civilians have been targeted by terrorists who seek to dominate our societies, our countries by terror," she said.

Fortunately, there were comforting messages from people and the Cameroonian President Paul Biya. "... I was very sensitive to expressions of sympathy that have been addressed to me. The head of state, President Biya from last night expressed his emotion to the French authorities and this morning, I received many messages against this terrorist threat from the French, Cameroonians, other peoples concerned," said Ms. Robichon.

However, the French are not ready to give up. "Do not give in to terrorism. We must remain strong against terrorism, we must remain united; this applies to each affected country but also applies to all countries and nations. The intensity of the cooperation between Cameroon and France is an example of this reaction which is the only one that can afford to free our world of this threat," says the ambassador.

For her, it is "a war against the values ??we wear, it is a war against the freedoms, it is a sown terror to undermine the values ??we defend altogether. And together we will succeed," she concludes.
