Police corruption : Issa Tchiroma confirms

While confirming corruption in the police practices, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, Minister of Communication (MINCOM), disputes the Amnesty International report that ranked the police in the bodies of the most corrupt professions.

For him, the report of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) is more reliable but is awaiting approval of the President of the Republic to make it public.

For him, Amnesty International based its survey on erroneous data, as done with people "who are cantilever with the government," it said in the Daily Emergence of this Thursday, December 24, 2015.

According to MINCOM, debit balance of 44.393 billion FCFA layout have already been pronounced against police offenders, in addition to multiple sanctions such as 52 cases of revocation in the body, the grade advancement suspensions, reprimands, and warnings.

This proves that the government made considerable efforts in the fight against corruption.
