Elected by 59 votes to 2, against his immediate challenger Robert Atah. With 8 blank ballots, Tombi à Roko Sidiki, originating from the Mbam-et-Inoubou, in the Central Region, is the new Fecafoot boss.
In the conference room of the elective General Assembly, there were 74 delegates out of 76 expected. The election of the new Fecafoot president puts an end to an electoral soap opera, rich in so many twists, which lasted two years (25 months), and aroused passions and resentments.
He counted among his mates, some influential Cameroonian footballers. In particular, the former international Geremi Sorel Njitap, Pierre Batamack, Essomba Eyenga, Mveng Ella, Wembe Samuel, Mbella Mocki Charles, Abbo Mohamadou, David Mayebi and many others.

The new Fecafoot president was from 1978 to his election, a footballer, club president, regional Treasurer of the League of football in the Centre, acting Chairman of the same League, Member of many commissions in the federation, Member of the Executive Committee and for 5 years, he held the position of Secretary-General of Fecafoot.
