According to reliable sources, the situation was settled at the presidency of the republic, after the president had to intervene. But despite this, some intermediaries have offered the players FCFA 10 million against the announced FCFA 15 million. Out of the 12 players in the squad, only Alexandria Blackshear, Ramses Lonlack and Achire Ade were paid.
