FECAFOOT: Njitap and Tombi go hand in hand

Geremi Njitap Geremi Njitap

The outgoing Secretary General of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) and candidate to succeed Iya Mohammed as the next president of the federation, Geremi Njitap Fotso, is in Tombi’s list.

The former Cameroon international is among the 18 personalities that make up the list led by Tombi A Roko Sidiki, according to the consensus imposed on different actors by the Cameroonian government.

The delegate from West Regional League is Samuel Wembe, the newly brought President as the head of this entity. But as an exceptional measure and in order to harmonize the interest aroused in the name of consensus, Njitap was chosen by cronies of Tombi in the Western Region.

However, it remains to be seen what role the former Indomitable Lion will have in Tombi A Roko team if his list is elected on the evening of September 28.

On behalf of councils, also found in this list were names of personalities like David Mayebi, Alhaji Alioum, Antoine De Padoue Essomba Eyenga and Francis Mveng, all former members of the Executive Committee of 2009, passed in the opposition since the outbreak of the crisis.
