After the procrastination of the actors, the legal battles with twists, sensationalist media activism, and public power has resumed its rights in the matter of FECAFOOT elections canceled by the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration (CCA) of CNOSC.

Manipulators and those who like to swim in troubled waters have been served. Vis-a-vis the profit motive, the visceral attachment to material goods, and addiction of mafia practices with ulterior purposes, it irrevocably led some sports leaders to probe further into cases that involved football management.

The sports federations have a public service delegation of authority for the management of their specific activities; the 2011 Act which establishes administrative procedures for control by the State. It also guides management to ensure compliance of the statutes of the federations.

The recurrence of multiple crises within FECAFOOT sparked the establishment of a Standards Committee, which, despite repeated extensions of its term, made its copy by making the forceps, the election of various FECAFOOT management bodies. This may probably be due to certain maneuvers aimed at stopping the electoral process within the federation.

Despite this successful outcome, some actors have reconvened the arbitration court of the CCA for the cancellation of the entire electoral process to FECAFOOT.

This concern led the President of the Republic to instructvthe Minister of Sports and Physical Education, to restore calm in the country’s football, to calmly prepare the next sporting deadlines challenge in Cameroon.

In deference to these very high requirements, the Minister met all stakeholders in order to start a new consensus on the basis of sovereign provisions that confer normative acts to end this cacophony.

This step will be with the determination to achieve the objectives of organizational effectiveness for the next CAN which have been assigned by the very high hierarchy.
