The investigation initiated by the Swiss justice on Friday against Sepp Blatter could now have an unexpected outcome for the history of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
While the boss of FIFA was to be dismissed, it's Issa Hayatou of CAF who will logically be appointed interim president of the world football body.
The seniority of Issa Hayatou, 69, gives him the title of "Senior Vice President" of FIFA and therefore, the right to sit in the chair of Sepp Blatter in case of vacancy or found impediment.
The new presidential election within the International Federation of Association Football is scheduled on February 26, 2016.
