Former Bamboutos FC leader has been sentenced to two years in prison by the Mbouda court for attempted murder.
During the trial, the club head, who is popularly known by the pseudonym name Président Kaka, explained his action by saying that the victim had a sexual affair with his wife.
But this argument was not convincing enough to the court. In addition to the prison sentence, he is to pay a fine of FCFA 200,000; as well as a sum of FCFA 20,000, for damages. The victim, on the other hand, said the fee was too small to pay for his hospital bills after he was wounded by his "executioner," sources informed.
The epilogue of this case was not the end of the miseries of this former leader of Bamboutos Fc of Mbouda. This is because he was also charged with a double identity.
He answered to the names; André Zosouo and Kaka Fonka. It was explained that he acquired the first name from his father. This case was referred to December 5, 2015.
Also, Président Kaka was accused by a third complaint of "attempted murder" he allegedly made to a teacher of ENIEG, Mbouda.
For the record, these complaints have become more since the arrest of the respondent. According to sources, he is a member of a group of suspected gangsters who spread terror in the capital of the department of Bamboutos and its surroundings.
Formerly CEO of the most popular team of the previous national Ligue 1 championship, Président Kaka was the director of business affairs, since last year.
