The players of the football team of the Ministry of Family and Women Empowerment (MINPROFF) proved once again that they have the potential.
With a team of close to 10 players in the national team A, Louves won the final of the women's football in Cameroon Cup by defeating Amazon FAP of Yaoundé (2-1), on Sunday.
Effective Louves
Michelle Akaba was the first to ignite the Omnisport Stadium in Yaoundé. In a personal initiative of the Louves striker who was nose-to-nose with Ndongo Fouda, who brilliantly caused 'danger' (7th). The Amazon goalkeeper did well.
Finally, it was Isis Sonkeng who sent the ball at the back of the net. Face to face with the Indomitable Lioness, she was beaten (1-0, 22e). Iven Mihamle came close but this time, the goalkeeper made a great save (32').She was applauded by the public, but the second goal from Louves was not long.
First saved by her post and then by Gaëlle Kere (35th), the Amazon keeper was beaten again. On a corner kick, the ball got to Iven Mihamle who scored the second goal (2-0, 37th). Louves were comfortable and managed their game well, but Amazon reacted in injury time thanks to Agnes Nkada, which later reduced the tally (2-1, 45 + 2).
Bella Rose bad luck

The girls of the Armed Forces and Police (FAP) came back well organized and more committed than in the previous 45 minutes. The pressed on and created for the opposing camp with Rose Bella almost scoring the equalizer.
With a poor clearance from the Louves, Carole Mimboe dived to intercept a shot from Priso Ndong (54th). Iven Mihamle responded later, first with a shot that rattled the bar (65th), and a face-off sadly missed (69th).
Rose Bellase again failed to net in the equalizer when faced with the opposing goalkeeper after her ball went in between the legs of the goalkeeper but failed to cross the line. A big bad luck!
