Just like her coach, the captain of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon has admitted they are playing against an unknown Zimbabwe team.
She and her teammates will play in the first leg of the last round of the playoffs of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, on Saturday in Yaoundé.
Christine Mani, however, is optimistic and expects each of her partners to make a difference.
"In the den, we have no problem. Our only problem is to qualify for the Rio Olympics 2016. If there would be a problem, we know how to manage it. The only thing we have in mind is our match on Saturday although we do not know our opponent neither do we know how they play.
In a society, each person has a role. We are the players. Our job is to play, defend the colours of our country and make our audience happy. The rest is not for us. It is true that those who were with us during the World Cup (Canada 2015) are not participating but the den is fully prepared. Not everyone was in the team during the All African Games, but we reached the finals. This means that each player is important,” Christine Mani said.
