The outgoing management team of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) keeps a stranglehold on nine regional football leagues, pending the Northwest where the vote was postponed to tomorrow Tuesday because of "unfulfilled quorum".
Candidates of Tombi A Roko camp, Secretary General and candidate in the federal election of the Cameroon Football Forum were elected for some, and for others re-elected at the regional levels.
Unable to overthrow the established order, some opponents of the outgoing regime have not been able to fulfill all the eligibility conditions. And the first to be freed from the anxiety of re-election were Alim Konate in the North, Bello Boubakari in the Far North, Samuel Wembe in the West, Abbo Mohamadou in Adamawa and Jean Jacques Zam in South .
Election tight in the East
Everything went well for the team of Tombi A Roko in the three regions where there was a duel. In the Centre, Saint Fabien Mvogo succeeded Luc Assamba. The president of Eding Sport of Lékié was elected with a total of 48 votes against 5 invalid ballots. His only challenger, Noa Naphtalie Ndoum withdrew his candidacy shortly before the voting started.
In the Southwest, Charles Mbella Moki was re-elected after beating Felix Nkongho. Just like in the East where the elections were decided by the difference of one vote. Also, Joseph Essoufou was elected with 12 votes against 11.
