Olivier Nankam won his first Cameroon Cup trophy as a coach against his trainer, Emmanuel Bosso Ndoumbé in a 'student defeat master' on Sunday.
The UMS de Loum Coach had won the trophy as a player in 2005 while playing for Imports FC of Yaoundé, with Alexandre Belinga on the bench.
He talked about the secret behind the victory against Panthère du Ndé.
"This is my father. You know, when the father teaches his son, he learns to be better and surpass his father. I think that despite everything, he is also happy for me that I can also win this cup. The first half was very sluggish on our side, it was difficult to unwind. But in the second half, with the instructions that have been given to the players at the break, they readjusted. Panthère had its chance but was unable to exploit it, and we took over the game in the second half, and I think it paid off."
