Tombi A Roko Sidiki is the new boss of the governing body of football in Cameroon.
Unsurprisingly, the former President of the Central Commission for the appointment of arbitrators was elected as president of FECAFOOT on September 28, 2015. The election of the General Assembly was held at Mont Febe Hotel Yaoundé and he is the 17th President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
Robert Atah, deputy national technical director No. 3, only opponent in contention, could not contend. The score was almost soviet; with 73 delegates in total, 59 votes for Mr. Tombi, only 2 voted for Mr. Atah, 8 blank votes and 4 invalid ballots. He had over 80% of the votes.
As foreseen, the former president of the regional league football Littoral was acclaimed by delegates. It must be said that his victory was not a shadow of a doubt after the elections in the regions that had seen a widespread success of the delegates to the cause of the man who is aged 54 today.
