Alphonse Nafack (photo), the Director General Afriland First Bank, is the new president of the Professional Association of Cameroon credit institutions (APECCAM), according to an official statement signed by the General Secretary of the association, Benedict Belibi.
He officially took office on December 1, 2015, the statement said. The DG of Afriland succeeds Mathieu Mandeng, former CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Cameroon, recently transferred to Mauritius, who was elected to head the APECCAM for the first time in June 2012.
During his tenure, Alphonse Nafack was assisted by Jean Paul Missi, the CEO of Credit Foncier of Cameroon, the housing bank; and Eric Leclerc, CEO of Alios Finance, respectively 1st and 2nd Vice-President of the APECCAM.
