Cameroon Standard Chartered Bank has a new Director General, Chuks Ugha, who was appointed by the regulatory authorities of the banking sector since December 1, 2015, according to an official statement released on December 24, 2015.
Chuks Ugha, who has about 24 years of experience in the banking industry takes over from Cameroonian Mathieu Mandeng who was transferred to head the Mauritian subsidiary of the Standard Chartrerd Bank.
The new DG is familiar with Cameroon as he takes the reins. Before his promotion to DG, Chuks Ugha occupied the functions responsible for Corporate and Institutional clients at Cameroon Standard Chartered Bank.
