As part of its strategy of promoting products made in Cameroon and abroad, in order to help local economic operators to enter new markets, the Cameroon government intends to organize Cameroonian exhibition in Moscow (Russia) in 2015.

The information was revealed by the Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Atangana Mbarga on the sidelines of his visit to members of the Finance Commission of the National Assembly, under the 2015 defense budget of his ministry.

"We will deploy particularly in Russia. Even if Russia straddles between the group of countries known as developed and emerging economies, the point of concentration will be the organization of economic and Cameroonian trade exhibition in Moscow," he said.

Although no statistics are advanced, Russians and Cameroonians have agreed that trade between the two countries "is very low." On the effect of reversing this trend, the Russian Business Center (RBC) officially launched its activities in Yaounde in March 2014.
