Four firms get FCFA 1.5 bln Kribi Port contract

The group which consists of European engineering firms Seamar Engineering and SGI International, Cameroon ERE Development company and PwC accounting firm has just landed a contract worth nearly 1.5 billion CFA francs for (Investing in Cameroon, the magazine of the Cameroonian economy) - "Assistance in project management with the operational unit of the industrial port complex of Kribi."

In addition, the deepwater port of Kribi has two terminals (container and versatile) are already built and are waiting for commissioning in the year 2016 at the industrial port complex of Kribi. It housed a second container terminal, an ore terminal and an oil terminal, besides other industrial development.

The Project management and support contract awarded by the Cameroonian government paves the way for the work of the second phase of construction work of the complex mentioned above.
