SICC invests 11 billion on prefabricated building equipment

The US company, Southwest International Construction Corporation (SICC), has set up a factory for the production of materials for the construction of prefabricated buildings in the industrial zone of Bassa (Douala), reliable sources revealed.

The products of this company, whose investment is estimated at 11 billion FCFA, will help begin the construction of the first batch of 183 housing (for 7.5 billion FCFA) in the town of Mbanga Bakoko where the government intends of a 5000 social housing construction project.

For the time being, SICC Cameroon is working on the construction project of Congo market in Douala, driven by the urban community, the super City Hall of the Cameroonian economic capital.

About 1000 shops in this market will be completed in September 2016. The cost of the work is estimated at 7 billion FCFA.
