"In Cameroon, where one is well-off or poor, everyone has at least once in his life, eaten puff-puff-beans-pap", said Ibrahim Nguepnang, the CEO of Tchop and Yamo (eat and appreciate, in English), the first Cameroonian Fast food chain.

The power of this postulate, which he revealed recently on the Réussite television magazine, was what encouraged this young Cameroonian entrepreneur to engage in the marketing of Cameroonian recipe in modernized spaces, about 3 years ago.

Thanks to these shops, Tchop and Yamo, found in the cities of Yaoundé and some parts in Douala, puff-puff-bean-pap (BHB) has left the streets of cities and villages to be consumed in modern spaces, well decorated and equipped with Wi-Fi.

Since the opening of these spaces, the mayonnaise recipes seem to be the most taken at the point where the promoter of this concept now dreams of an expansion at an exponential rate.

According to Réussite, Idriss Nguepnang now aims to create a new shop in all quarters, over a period of 8 years. This will bring him to a total of 32 shops, which will each employ 20 people.

The expansion plan of Tchop and Yamo will create more than 500 jobs over the next decade, against 70 employees currently.

To achieve this dream, said the same source, the promoter of the Cameroonian McDonald is currently negotiating the opening of its capital at the African Participation Society (SAPA).

This investment company, which shoots participation in enterprises and projects with high potential for growth, is controlled by the Cameroonian banking group, Afriland First Bank.
