Twenty-one-year-old Ngalle Mariane Olivia has been elected 2015 Miss Prestige Cameroon at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel.
The Civil Engineering and Environmental Science Student at the Catholic University of Buea braved the odds and played her game convincingly to be the best out of seventeen contestants.
For five times, every time in different costumes the girls showed determination to woo the crowd likewise the jury.
From swim suits to African attires among others, the girls mounted the podium in style and confidence making it tough for the jury to choose the overall best.
From seventeen to ten and ten to five, fans shouted in favour of their contestants but the jury had a final say most likely because Ngalle Mariane Olivia impressed and charmed everyone to vote in favour of her.
Her smiles, her confidence and her speech to help women be at the service of peace in the country at a time the country is facing security challenges from Boko Haram militants must have earned her the title Miss Prestige Cameroon 2015.
The new miss is therefore excepted to be an ambassador for young women in the country.
