Truck kills two schoolboys in Bafia

The family of Belek Ayeba from Banam village in Bafia has lost two of its sons.

The tragedy occurred on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, following the return of the second quarter of the school year.

On their way to their school, Atok Marc (12 years) and Ayeba Guy Serge (8 years) were killed in Bafia by a truck.

According to information relayed by national radio, CRTV, the truck registered NO 686 AD was from Bafoussam in the Western Region and transporting goods.

Alerted by the cries of the local population, the driver stopped and to his surprise, saw the extent of the damage; the two children lay on the floor.

They were rushed to the Bafia District Hospital but Marc Atock gave up the ghost on the spot.

Guy Serge Ayeba whose situation was quite alarming and required evacuation to a hospital in Yaoundé, succumbed to his injuries on the way.

According to the local correspondent of CRTV, this is not the first time that such an incident has happened.
