25 Crime Investigators End Training

The Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie, Jean Baptiste Bokam, last Friday September 6, 2013 in Yaounde, urged 25 crime investigation officers to contribute their newly-acquired skills and know-how in scientific investigation, forensic medicine, money laundering and human rights, to help fight criminality in the country.

The laureates who comprised officers from the Gendarmerie and the National Police force were trained as the 30th Batch in the National Gendarmerie's Training Centre for Judicial Police, for six weeks, to lead investigation teams into gathering evidence from crime scenes, for use against suspects in law courts. The Delegate General for National Security, Martin Mbarga Nguele was also present at the ceremony that saw the award of attestations to the laureates.
