3 Generals to reinforce army in the north against Boko Haram

Three Generals have recently been sent to the North to promote different strategies in the fight against Boko Haram. They will commence duties this weekend particularly in the region of the far North.

Following the complaints we had made in our previous edition. General René Claude Meka, Chief of staff of the armed forces, General Elokobi, Director for central coordination and General Mahamat will have to join the front line this weekend in order to promote a differentiated approach to the strategy of fight against the Islamist sect Boko Haram. This decision was adopted later, as a positive response to decry of absence of generals at the front.

Since the outbreak of the war against the Islamist sect, none of our senior officers have conducted even a tour, to find out the situation in the field of military operations.

Certainly it is possible in this regard that their physical presence on the field of operations is not absolutely essential, given their role of design strategies of defence.
