324 people awarded medals at Unity Palace

In a solemn occasion that took place at the Unity Palace in Yaounde, some 324 personnel were decorated with medals during a ceremony presided over by Secretary General of the Presidency, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh.

The 324 personnel to be awarded medals were in their best outfits especially ladies with flowers in hand.

They were either, civilians or military men in the various services of the Presidency of the Republic, General Secretariat, civil practice or management of presidential security.

They were all awarded National Orders of different classes of labor medal of honor.

They were presented by the Minister, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, who presided over the ceremony and seven other officials of the Presidency of the Republic: the Secretaries-General of the Presidency, Peter Agbor Tabi and Seraphin Magloire Fouda, the ministers of the mission in the presidency, Hamadou Moustapha, Paul Atanga Nji, Mengot Victor Arrey Nkongho, Philippe Mbarga Mboua, Deputy Director of the Civil Cabinet Joseph LE.

In detail the medals are divided as follows: Order of Value: 20 awards, including four in the rank of Commander, the rank of officer in September and nine in custody Knight.

The National Order of Merit, one finds seven in custody Grand Cordon, 17 to the Commander, 20 to the officer, and 34 to the rank of knight.

In the Ordre National du Mérite sportif, a total of eleven medals. Merit in the Public Force, 78 decorations. Regarding the medals of Honour of Labour, there were 16 gold, 34 silver and 94 bronze.
