56 prisoners from the Kondengui prison have been baptised by the Solidarity and Rehabilitation Ministry of the Cameroon Baptist Convention.
The baptism ritual was carried out after a message of peace, love and hope preached by some pastors of CBC who were accompanied by their Christians.
The Solidarity and Rehabilitation Ministry of the CBC organises a yearly campaign, a period during which they reach out to the psychological and spiritual lives of the detainees.
The solidarity committee has paid visits to 15 prisons in Cameroon since it was created.
