97 laureates from CNFZV received their scrolls marking the end of their training Saturday in Foumban.
Despite the many efforts made by the Government in the field of livestock, fishing and animal industries, there is still a crying consumption of animal protein deficit, estimated at 11 kg per inhabitant and per year, instead of the standard of 42 kg, as prescribed by the United Nations food and agriculture Organization (FAO).
It is now one of the challenges of the new graduates from the national zootechnical and veterinary training Centre in Foumban (CNFZV). 97 technicians and Assistant technicians in aquaculture, farming and fishing, have received their scrolls from the hands of the prefect of the center, Donatien Bonyomo on Saturday.
The head of the area also asked them to contribute to the outbreak of the Cameroonian economy for an emerging Cameroon in 2035 by producing more to limit massive imports of farm products.
These laureates will enjoy some funding available to family structures such as the Acefa, program to improve the competitiveness of the farms; the Paca, support project for agricultural and more competitive projects.
According to the Director of the Cnfzv, Jean Paul Ondoua Zang, if these young people who have completed two years of training reunite, they can obtain funding of between 500,000 Fcfa and 6 million F from Acefa.
Spokesman of the laureates declared that his comrades are sufficiently equipped and proficient inter alia in farming, poultry farming in pigs, rabbits, beekeeping. If the Minepia facilitates their access to funding, they can easily fit into the world of employment.
On the grievances expressed by the Cnfzv on the difficult access to the centre, inadequately equipped laboratories, the lack of drinking water, the absence of a school canteen, the prefect Donatien Bonyomo promised to spare no effort to find local solutions.
