A 41-storey building at initial cost of 65 bn CFA F to be built in Yaounde

With an initial cost of 65 billion CFA FRANCS, this building will be the fruit of a joint-venture between three local businesses and South African economic operators.

The signing of the framework agreement for the construction of a 41-storey building in the capital city, took place on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the star building in Yaoundé.

It was in the presence of the DG of the regulation Agency of the electricity sector (ARSEL) Mr. Jean-Pierre Kedi, surrounded by those of Electricity Development corporation Théodore Nsangou and Moussa Ousmanou of the rural electrification Agency for the occasion.

This Titanic real estate project will come through the financial contribution of the three foregoing parastatals (Arsel, Edc, Aer) as well as a consortium of South African economic operators.

The first in the Central African sub-region, the architectural jewel of 41 floors will be equipped with an underground parking garage with a capacity of 1,000 vehicles, for an initial cost of 65 billion Cfa Francs.

Also, the construction of the impressive building should generate 3,500 direct and indirect jobs.
