Ali Annabel Wrestles Today

It will be at 13:00 local time at the Excel North Arena in London.

Fourteen days after the start of sporting activities at the London 2012 Olympic Games, thirty-three Cameroonian athletes participating in the different disciplines have been eliminated from the competition.

Only one, Ali Annabel is now left in the medal race. After being the nation's flag bearer at the London 2012, she will today compete in the 72kg wrestling category. The competition to take place at Excel North Arena will begin at 13:00 local time.

The 27-year-old athlete who missed a bronze medal during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing is carrying with her a bag of experience having participated in three World Championships in; 2007, 2009 and 2010, and the Commonwealth Games in 2010 where she emerged second in the 72 kg freestyle wrestling category.

Prior to the fight this afternoon, the Garoua girl's trainer, Isaac Mpia, a FILA wrestling expert believes there is something on the horizon.
