Alim Hayatou sensitizes his population against insecurity

Terrorist threat was on the agenda of a meeting convened on Tuesday by the lamido in his palace in Garoua. All the notables of the traditional Chieftainship of Garoua, including heads of 2nd and 3rd degrees, and imams responded to the invitation and were present on Tuesday at the call of their top leader, the lamido of Garoua.

His Majesty Alim Hayatou convened them to inform them of the threat of the terrorist sect Boko Haram.

This meeting which the agenda was limited to the communication of the lamido, notables received their roadmap to the security situation prevailing in the northern part of the country. Now, they will have to behave as true patriots, to assist the Government and the forces of order to ensure peace and security in the North.

"You cannot take advantage of the fact that they are village chiefs and not master what is happening in their city", said lamido Alim Hayatou as an introduction. "I put on guard against the false teachings of Islam which are contrary to those that our fathers have left us in legacy", he continued.

For Alim Garga Hayatou, the only way not to fall into the false teachings remains the school. "Do not spoil our religion. Help rather the institutions of the Republic with your prayers so that our country can come to grips with this Nebula ", he ruled.

To reassure each other, Alim Hayatou Garga has indicated that the president of the Republic, Paul Biya, is determined to put an end to the actions of this sect in this part of the country.

Before taking leave of his chiefs, several prayers were made to Allah, to assist affected populations and the army engaged in this battle.
