The leader of the Manidem accused the government of hiding from the Cameroonian people the truth about the attacks in the region of the Far North.
The member of the political bureau of the Manidem (African Movement for the new independence and democracy) has signed September 9, 2014 a rostrum. It returns on the situation of insecurity that prevails in the extreme north and reacts to the recent outputs of the president of the National Assembly of Cameroon, the minister of communications and the minister delegate at the Presidency in charge of the portfolio of the superior control of the State.
The opponent recalled that the declaration of the national coordination committee of his party, published on 2 August last, claimed that the attacks in the region of the far north are "probably an armed rebellion which is installed, and which could be an attempt to destabilize the country that could exploit foreign powers, such as France".
He argues that this position" is widely shared by the Cameroonian public opinion ".
On this subject, Ekane indexed the minister of communication Issa Tchiroma Bakary, that he dubbed the " « kamikaze du roi » to maintain the blur on the events of the Far North. He then lists the recent "nonsense" of the president of the National Assembly Djibril Right Honorable Cavaye Yeguie draw the attention of hon. members and the minister in charge of the greater control of the State Henri Eyebe from Ayissi and deduces that "you must wait for the Ministers who say they are unduly cites and especially of Issa Tchiroma Bakary, or even the Prime Minister, a formally developed, a scathing refutation, a clear condemnation of the Minister in question and his resignation ipso facto from the government.
This would be the minimum that the Cameroonian patriots must wait from the government, for lending credibility his appeal to national unity, to face the enemy that threatens our country", he says. Further, he said that "Cameroonians are in law and should also ask the resignation of the hon. members, to begin by his colleagues in the National Assembly.
Anicet Ekane is endeavoring to demonstrate that France is trying to destabilize Cameroon in order to place its "pawns". He believes that Cameroon resembles the type of territories that the former trusteeship would invest.
