Anti-Terrorism Law: Joe La Conscience calls for protest in Yaounde

Joe De Vinci Kameni alias "Joe La Conscience," artiste and political activist announces his return to the streets this time against the anti-terrorism law that was adopted by the Cameroonian parliament.

"My response to that other nonsense of the regime will be stronger than that of Blaise Compaoré with the launch of the big demonstration "Biya Leaves" from January 5, 2015 at 8 am at the central position of Yaoundé," he wrote on his facebook wall.

"I appeal here to all political parties, ordinary citizens activists and even artists who say they are committed to meet me at the roundabout at the main post office that day, to not leave until the day when Biya Bi Mvondo has left," he continues.

The potential demonstrators should, he says, bring shirts and cardboard signs to hit on the campaign slogan. The protester urged them to "hide them well under the shirt" before setting sail to the site of the protest.

"And once there, you go out quietly and you brandish, standing or sitting. It's as simple as that," believed the Rasta singer.

"I do not understand that Cameroonians want to accept that all political fighters are now branded as terrorists. This I will fight until my last breath," said the determined, Joe La Conscience.
