This was during festivities marking the 28th anniversary of the CPDM.
Supporters of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) for Bamboutos Central I Section have thanked the Head of State, President Paul Biya for appointing their son Nganou Djoumissi Emmanuel to the position of Minister of Economy, Plan and Regional Development among others. This was the key message in speeches delivered on the occasion of the CPDM 28th anniversary by Mayor Kuete Martin, CPDM Section President Hon. Nzognou dit Fotsa Ngong, WCPDM Section President, Mawo Jeanne Darc and YCPDM Section President, Kenne Alexis.
Minister Nganou Djoumissi Emmanuel said it was time to celebrate and strengthen the partnership agreement between President Paul Biya and the population of Bamboutos Division."We must show our joy by voting 100 per cent in the forthcoming Senatorial elections come 14th April," he said. Nganou Djoumessi used the occasion to thank CPDM supporters for their trust in President Paul Biya since 2002 when the population turned their back to the opposition in Bamboutos Division. He called on them to be hardworking, disciplined and abide by party rules as a guarantee to future political victories.
The meeting ended with a motion of support and assurance of loyalty to President Paul Biya, National President of the CPDM and Head of State of the Republic of Cameroon.
