Bamenda Gets Set to Celebrate Reunification Anniversary

As the day for the celebrations of Cameroon's Re-unification draws nearer, the population of the North West Region has been putting together all it takes for a successful event. Although the date of the event has not been known, the Governor of the North West Region Lele L'Afrique Adolphe has challenge businessmen and politicians as well as civil servants to send in their contribution to this effect.

In a meeting that took place December 9, 2013 to prepare for the celebrations, Governor Lele L'Afrique Adolphe said the celebration will give the people of the Region the opportunity to showcase their commitment towards the reunification of the two Cameroons. He said while waiting for funding from Yaounde it is high time elite of the region put in their financial contribution so the region will celebrate in grand style. He said his doors are opened for more suggestions.

On his part, the General Manger or MEDINO John Begeni Ndeh reminded all that the North West Region was one of those part of the country that championed reunification as such all must put hands on deck so that the region celebrate in a special way. The Regional Delegate of Communication was charged with the organization of radio talks on local radios to educate the population on reunification.

The cry of all members of the meeting was to have a good representation of the North West Region in Buea where the national celebration will take place.
