Due to the 'Anglophone problem' faced by Cameroonians in the Southern part of Cameroon, there is no school in the South west and North West region as a result of the strike, which is an action in protest against the government, in a bid to urge them to solve the current Anglophone problem.
Monday has been declared 'ghost town' in the South West and North West regions.
According to CRTV's social media news feed, Former Prime Minister, now senator; Peter Mafany Musonge, urged parents to accompany their children to school despite the strike, and of course Cameroonians in favor of the protest fired back at him.
