Bartolone visits Ecole supérieure int'le de guerre in Ydé, ESIG

Claude Bartolone hailed the kind of training given to the students of this institution at the advanced military training. "The African continent will not know the potential of development, democracy, freedom, economic and social progress without security. It's this mission which you are in charge. There's no freedom without security. " Claude Bartolone, president of the French National Assembly (PAN) addressed the interns of the l’Ecole supérieure internationale de guerre in Yaoundé (ESIG).

He made this statement just before signing the Golden book. The ultimate stage of his visit to this unique francophone School of training of military elites in sub-Saharan Africa, has been enriched, since its inception in 2005, since the bipartisan partnership policy between Cameroon and France.

In his words of welcome, the general, Esaïe Ngambou, Commander of ESIG, presented three initial structuring benchmarks to measure the responsibility of the school for 10 years.

After talking about the attractiveness of the offer of training, the major-general said that "we can only be grateful to France which provide support in expertise by managers and stakeholders and also contribute to the bipartisan operation of this school".

The presentation of the 45 trainees from 21 nationalities helped to illustrate the international component of the institution. Colonel Roquemaurel, Director of education at the ESIG, unveiled the objectives of the institution.
